The Sparkman Stevens designed Tartan 40 has been regarded as one of the best sailing cruiser racer sloops available in its time. Only 72 were built. All control lines lead aft. Self-tailing winches. All cushions are in very good condition. 8 AC outlets and LED lighting everywhere. Screens on 7 opening ports and 6 ventilation hatches plus stainless dorades make the cabin comfortable. A double stainless sink and water filter are next to the 3 burner propane stove oven. Aft of the galley is a rearward facing chart table with VHF radio and electrical panel pictured. A radar mast was added along with a custom transom platform for easy rear dock or dinghy boarding.
