The Arrogance 50 project was, for its time, one of the most ambitious in Italian sailing. The comparative analysis conducted in the basin for calculating the waterlines, rudder profile, mast, and all structural components produced a mathematical model so remarkable that it was possible to create a boat with a 30% performance advantage over the competition of the era, confirming a substantial superiority of the hull in terms of relative and absolute performance. This is how the Arrogance 50 Citation was born: a first-class 15-meter sailboat with the unmistakable lines of a thoroughbred. With an extremely elegant and refined shape, Citation combines the technological and sporting content of a major racing yacht with a carefully designed and comfortable interior layout: a spacious saloon, a functional galley, a large chart table, three double cabins, and three bathrooms, all without sacrificing the sophisticated details that define a true «first class» yacht.
