The Wauquiez CENTURION 47 is a model designed by Ed Dubois and built by Wauquiez Yachting. This sailboat is known for its performance, durability, and elegance. It is suitable for high-sea navigation, particularly upwind.

Preparation and Upgrades

The sailboat has undergone a complete overhaul and major improvements between 2019 and 2024:

Recent work: replacement of the teak deck, changing the portholes, overhaul of the standing rigging, and a complete engine overhaul.
Modern equipment: new Fisher Panda generator (2024) and upgraded NKE electronics.

Interior Layout

The sailboat has three cabins: a rear owner's cabin, a forward double cabin, and a crew cabin. It also includes a saloon, an equipped galley, and two bathrooms.

The sailboat is equipped with a revised Lombardini 60 HP engine, a full set of sails (mainsail and genoa from 2017, staysail, storm jib, and spinnaker overhauled), and modern navigation instruments (NKE central, AIS, autopilot).

History

Previously owned by the artist Philippe Laville, this sailboat has sailed from the French coasts to the lagoons of New Caledonia, including New Zealand and Tahiti.
