X-Yachts IMX 45

XO is a superb IMX 45 designed by X-Yachts and naval architect Niels Jeppesen. This sailing yacht combines performance and comfort perfectly. Ideal for IRC racing, it was meticulously renovated in 2025 after more than 7 years without sailing. It also benefits from a very good IRC rating. Its design and equipment also make it an excellent choice for fast cruising and ocean navigation.

The interior of XO was completely renovated in 2025. It is simple, spacious, and functional, able to accommodate up to 8 people. It features a comfortable salon, a large chart table on port side, and a U-shaped galley on starboard with a double sink, a new gas stove, and a fridge. The woodwork was renovated and then varnished or painted white to enhance brightness inside.

The layout includes three cabins: a forward cabin with a double bed, two aft cabins, each with a double bed and a berth frame, as well as additional sleeping options in the saloon. The saloon table easily seats 8 people. A head with a shower and renovated toilet is located at the front of the salon on starboard side.

The mast, boom, and spinnaker pole are made of carbon, and the standing rigging is rod. The latter was replaced in 2018 and has traveled no more than a hundred miles since then. The mast jack was renovated in 2025. The boat’s wardrobe includes 2 mainsails (1 Dacron used only one day, and 1 fiber sail slightly older), 4 genoas (1 very clean on slings and 3 others on luff track, currently unusable on the boat), 1 staysail (also on luff track), and 3 spinnakers in very good condition, including 1 asymmetrical.

The electronics are original but checked and operational. They can probably be upgraded depending on the future owner’s plans. The boat currently does not have an anchor windlass, but one can be added, which could be negotiated as part of the price and additional services requested.
