Major updates for 2023/2024 attest to its excellent condition: a high-performance bow thruster, a new AGM battery bank and engine, recently installed electric toilets, a modern microwave, a brand-new refrigeration unit, a recharging distributor, a state-of-the-art inverter, as well as renewed halyards, sheets, and booms. The windlass, chain, and anchor were also replaced in the same year to ensure safety and efficiency.

Inside, the X-452 offers two spacious cabins and two modern bathrooms. The forward master cabin features an en-suite bathroom with an electric WC installed in 2023/2024, while the aft cabin has two comfortable single beds. An additional bathroom with a shower and electric WC completes this space. The saloon is particularly welcoming, with a convertible dinette, two settees, and a convivial dining table. Starboard, the chart table is ideally positioned, while port-side, the L-shaped kitchen, extended toward the stern, is equipped with a three-burner stove, a gas oven, a recent microwave, three sinks with faucets and seawater pumps, as well as a refrigerator with a new refrigeration unit. The entire area is illuminated by interior and exterior LED lights for a warm and functional atmosphere.

On equipment, this sailboat is fitted with a complete and high-performance setup: VHF with chart card and well, two chartplotters, three multifunction instruments GARMIN GMI10 and GNX 20, forward and aft fishfinders, an additional Navman depth sounder, a compass, an AUTOHELM 6000 autopilot, an AIS receiver, a radio with speakers, an inverter, a QUICK battery charger, as well as two service batteries and a new engine battery (2023). A boiler, three bilge pumps, two shower pumps, a 220V water heater, and a MAX PROP three-blade propeller complete this technical ensemble, along with the recently installed bow thruster.

For rigging, the X-452 is equipped with eight LEWMAR winches, a fast 1400 W windlass, a 20 kg Delta anchor with 70 meters of chain, and a teak cockpit and foredeck from 2019. The teak cockpit grating was renewed in 2022, along with comfortable cushions, a folding table in the well, an openable platform with custom bathing ladder, a cockpit shower, and a foldable aluminum and wood passerelle. The FB engine is well maintained, and halyards, sheets, and booms were replaced in 2023.

The rig is optimized for performance with a complete sail set: two North Sails main sails for cruising and racing, a genoa, a spinnaker, and various jibs suited for all points of sail. The system includes three halyards, a cunningham, two reefing lines, a German mainsail reefing system, a double hauling line, a spinnaker mast, and a removable stay. A NAVTEC hydraulic backstay tensioner with a manometer ensures perfect rig tension. The removable double-groove furler allows easy sail handling directly from the deck, and a rarely used TUFF-LUFF basta adds flexibility.

Rigorous maintenance of the X-452 includes comprehensive osmosis treatment performed in 2020, recent antifouling (August 2023), and the replacement of hull tape and side portholes in 2020 and 2021. The deckhouse windows are currently being renewed. The teak cockpit and foredeck were fully restored in 2019. The CARIBONI monolithic mast, repainted in 2018, and the certified rig ensure robustness and safety. Wind instruments were modernized in 2016, with many mechanical parts and engines regularly inspected and replaced.
