Main differences with the DF200A :

Our new DF200AP engine is equipped with a revolutionary "hands-free" start system: a contactless coded key transmits an access code to the engine's start system. When the contactless key is within one meter of the main unit, simply turn on the system, insert the cut-off cord, and start the engine with a single button. Returning to port, just turn off the engine and power down the system.

The DF200AP is the first 200HP outboard engine (147kW) on the market to feature electronic control (Suzuki Precision Control) and Suzuki's Selective Rotation system, which allows the engine to be configured for normal or counter-rotation through a specially designed mechanism located in the lower unit (gearcase), and an innovative electronic gear shifting system.
